Tasked with creating an application to aid educational student supervisors
This project aims to create a piece of software to improve and aid the Personal Supervisor Scheme. With this project, i am to make a system that allows students to make appointments with their supervisor. Students should also be able to make comments to their supervisor, as well as a host of other capabilities.
With this project, the aim is to complete a project from start to finish, including the key stages of identifying the problems, key stakeholders, etc. Designing a system as well as building and testing it.
Project stakeholders
The project had several key stakeholders, including a range of internal and external. As shown in the stakeholder map.
Key users of the application would include four key personnel:
- Individual students
- Individual student mentors
- Managers
- IT department
The application aimed to form a digital spine for this scheme, ensuring all information was in one place.
The final application was developed using ASP.NET, allowing the application to be, by all users from anywhere with an internet connection, this being important in a 21st-century organisation. accessible
